That book is awesome, and just so you know, he lives in CT.  He came and spoke at our school a few years ago and the kids LOVED him!

My freshmen teachers and participating students loved this year's One Book, One Region selection: Little Princes by Conor Grennan. Nonfiction, engaging author and story. Global and humanitarian.

They already have Cut and The Contender.

Any other ideas?  They are looking for fiction and non-fiction.
