You can't record your own audiobooks.  Unless they are in the public domain, the publisher or author holds the rights to creating audio versions of the texts.  I don't know who created the YouTube channel you linked to or what authority they have - but my suspicion is that it is not a legal source of audio books.  It requires more investigation to be sure.

Convincing teachers of that is a whole other story.

What if you created your own Audio Books... could you record one of your students, (maybe just audio) put the recording on schooltube or youtube, and put the link in the MARC record for the book...  then they belong to you??

Also, iConn.org has a large selection of audio books available... you could also include these in your resources...
