During the morning session at the NESLA pre-conference "Nonfiction Matters and the CCSS" on Saturday, March 8th, Paige Jaeger will be modeling some innovative ways to raise rigor in the library.  Attendees will join her on a hands-on learning adventure and will exit knowing how to disguise close reading, evidence based claims and research as a fun learning activities.  Librarians can confidently say they are part of the achievement process and empower students to build their brains!  Bring a great nonfiction book and a friend!

Here's a great Best Books wiki that indexes at point of need http://best-book-lists.wikispaces.com

This wiki is listed on the CASL Ning along with other great reading resources.

Hope to see you there!
