[CASL-L] lunch in the library?

Question-does anyone else allow students to come into the library during their lunch? I have been allowing it for several years, as a privilege that could be taken away if it was abused. This year it has been discovered by larger, louder groups of students and it is becoming problematic. I am looking for a solution that will allow students to come who are seeking a quiet alternative to the café, but avoids the loud groups that tend to get boisterous and start feeling entitled about the lunchtime access.

Please let me know if you have a method that works in your space. Thanks!
