[CASL-L] wireless policies

Good Morning,

I am looking for some information on wireless use policies in districts.
Our school (grades6-8) is increasing its wireless access points, and as it
does, we would like to see what policies/guidelines other schools currently
have in place regarding student use of wireless.

Here are some questions I have, but please feel free to respond with
whatever you think will be helpful

1, Is your building a 1:1?
2. Do students use school devices (school owned and issued Chromebooks or
Ipads) or is it  BYOD?
3. Is your wireless password protected?
4. What are policies you have for student use of wireless?
5. Are students blocked from visiting certain sites?
6. Do you have a policy in place that addresses misuse of the wireless
network?
7. Have you had issues with band-width with more devices accessing the
internet?
