[CASL-L] iCONN Postcard mailing

Dear Library Media Specialists:
As part of our campaign to promote greater awareness of iCONN.org, we just completed a postcard mailing that provides links to the elementary, middle school and high school resources pages as well as a link to a newly created Dashboard for Educators<http://www.cslib.org/iconnsitemap/staff/iCONNDashboardForSDE.html> page.  A link to this dashboard will soon be added to each of the resource menus. The postcard is intended to reach all school libraries that we can't reach through the CASL list.

In addition, the State Dept. of Education will be including information about iCONN.org as part of a larger e-mailing to all school superintendents with a note encouraging them to share this info with their principals.

We plan to do this postcard mailing each year in August before the new school year starts, and will also use it to communicate any significant changes to the resources well before those changes take effect.
