> The Fall Forum will open with a presentation from renowned thought leader David Warlick. > While some may argue that changes in education have marginalized the school library program, you will hear from two school librarians who couldn't disagree more. Ann Martin and Kathleen Roberts, from the award winning Henrico Public Schools, will present the opportunities for school librarians to be leaders in the anytime anywhere learning environment. Ann and Kathleen will offer the district- and building-level view of this vital role for school librarians in the ever evolving landscape.

> The AASL Fall Forum always offers both theory building and thoughtful reflection, but not without some concrete examples and take-aways. This part of the program, a blended learning experience itself, will begin with a “30 in 30” recorded presentation by AASL Best Websites and Best Apps for Teaching & Learning committee chairs Heather Moorefield-Lang and Melissa Jacobs Israel. Their 30 minute presentation on websites and apps will get your head spinning just in time for a facilitated working session by David Loertscher who will work remotely with all sites using Google tools. This is a truly blended learning experience for all attendees who will leave with a tremendous amount of collaborative take-aways for bringing innovation into your program.

> AASL Fall Forum Committee Chair, Steven Yates, will facilitate an exceptional panel that epitomizes partnering within a school district. Join Dr. Art Cavazos, Superintendent (and AASL’s 2014 Distinguished Administrator of the Year), Mireya Galvan, Coordinator of Library Services, and Michelle Ayala, Elementary Instructional Facilitator from the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District, to see how they partner to meet their mission to “provide educational excellence for all students, cultivating college, career and workforce readiness, while providing students with choices for meaningful and successful life.”

> Personally Experience Blended Learning
> The entire Fall Forum will be a blended learning experience with ten sites from across the country learning together simultaneously and sharing through live feedback to one another. We don’t just talk the talk, but we will walk the walk!
