If an event like this happened, I would personally pay for my administrators to attend and hear what they SHOULD be doing! And I'd chauffeur them there. And buy them lunch.

 Hello,The
Connecticut Library Consortium is proposing creating an
event for administrators to showcase the importance of
school library programs (and librarians!) to student
learning. Members of the CASL board had the wonderful
suggestion of looking for administrators who are very
supportive of their school library programs and are
accomplishing innovative and exciting things with these
programs to invite as members of a panel. We are in the
very early stages of planning such an event but if you have
a principal, supervisor or superintendent in your district
who you think would be an excellent advocate for school
library programs, please let me know off-list at sjg.librarian at gmail.com
 or sbriggs at milforded.org.
 Thank you,
