[CASL-L] Books to reassure young children?

Hi everyone,

I had a kindergarten teacher ask me about books/resources for talking with
kids about the scary violence that has been in the news all too frequently
lately. I did a search and came up with a Scholastic site, Fred Rogers
talking points and the book, The Ant Hill which was written after the Sandy
Hook tragedy.

Does anyone have any favorite titles of this nature? I am thinking it will
be a good idea to put together a small library on this subject.

Thanks for your help.
