Selznick’s ground-breaking book The Invention of Hugo Cabret was awarded the 2008 Caldecott Medal, was nominated for a National Book Award, and was the basis for Martin Scorsese's Oscar-winning film Hugo. A signing at the AASL Membership Booth (Exhibit Hall E Lobby) will follow the presentation. Due to the interest in this author, it is strongly suggested that those wishing to have a book signed purchase a copy in advance of the event at the AASL Bookstore.

> The Mazza Museum is the world’s largest museum of original artwork by children’s book illustrators.
