Over the last year, I have eliminated print reference by discarding older books and adding the rest to the circulating collection.
I have been using the empty shelves as a place to display series fiction or popular genres or new non-fiction.

Ours was already gone when I got here a couple of years ago - much of it was outdated, what remained got interfiled into the nonfiction. I still had one in my previous K-9 school - consisted of sets I didn't want to break up, large expensive books.

Good morning.

I am wondering how many high school libraries still keep a printed reference section. If so, what types of books does it feature? We are substantially weeding our reference section and I was curious to see how many schools have eliminated it entirely.

Thanks!
