There is a great tie in between 10th(?) grade Civics classes (social studies) and English (who read To Kill a Mockingbird in 10th grade). We're hoping to read November through March, in time for Bryan's visit April 4th. If you're planning an event, it'd be great to let the public know by completing this form: <http://goo.gl/forms/Z0pyh035pI> http://goo.gl/forms/Z0pyh035pI.? Once you complete the form, you can see the sheet created to know what else is going on. It's not live to the public yet, but plans are to add these events to a calendar.

Thank you for the plug Judith!

The Eastern Connecticut One Book, One Region selection is Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. This is a powerful nonfiction book that you can read about on this link.

The One Book committee is partnering with UCONN and Conn College this year in addition to high school groups. There will be events at local libraries with the author coming to Conn College on April 4th.

The kickoff was last night at Avery Point. More information will be posted at www.onebookoneregion.org<http://www.onebookoneregion.org> as events are planned. Or check with your local public librarian!
