[CASL-L] chrome book carts

Rachel -
How does your school deal with how easily the screens crack? Do your chromebooks have cases or covers?

We just became 1:1 this year at Ellington Middle School but today alone we had 6 cracked screens! We think some are cracked from dropping, 1 cracked cause a student ran over it with his chair, and the others we are guessing are cracking because of the weight of their other books / notebooks they are carrying around.

Any help / advice is appreciated.

Hi there,

We have a 1:1 Chromebook environment at Sage Park Middle School in Windsor. Students pick up and drop off their CBs in homeroom.

We work as a team with our tech dept. to distribute them.
