I also have created a GOOGLE DOC FORM that is for BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS or REQUESTS and shared it with Students and Staff. I asked staff if they came across a title to please submit it on the form... then I can pull out a spread sheet from the results of the form submissions and create a book order from those new titles (after I double check to see if we already own them).

Subject: [CASL-L] So many books...so little time
Hi everyone,
I was hoping people could share the process they use for collection development. How do you chose what books to order? Do you have a system in place? What reviewing materials do you find most useful? Do you use Junior Library Guild? Do you use the Wilson Core Collection? Thanks!
