[CASL-L] Math Dept.

Test prep resources are probably my biggest seller with the math
department. Those teachers prepare students for the S.A.T. math (even in
math classes that aren't specifically S.A.T. prep classes), and some of
them teach A.P. Calc and A.P. Stats. I work with Guidance to find some
good, free test prep resources which I present to the math department and
link to my website, and I purchase test prep books that students can check
out. I also have a subscription to the Testing Education Reference Center
(TERC) database which includes full-length practice tests, online courses,
and ebooks for PSAT, SAT, A.P., and ASVAB tests (as well as a resume
builder, scholarship search, college and career exploration resources, and
more). Our public library has a similar product called Learning Express
Library and I encourage our kids to get public library cards in order to
access that tool as well.

The math teachers have also responded well when I show them helpful tech
tools, like quiz makers or something to create study guides or Jeopardy
games. We're a Google Apps for Education district, so I've been able to
help them with the Google forms, Docs, Slides, etc. and I've helped new
teachers set up their websites and Google Classrooms.

We also do a lot of tech installs for their computer software, their
SmartBoards, apps for the iPads, etc.

Best of luck with your meeting!
