Ditto - except I'm not the yearbook advisor.
In addition, JLG 'takes' my money/check at the beginning of the year and despite current frozen budgets, we continue to look forward to new books each month! I haven't found another bound book jobber that works like that. Baker & Taylor and Follet used to accept encumbered monies, but even those go away when spending freezes.

I use JLG pretty heavily and subscribe to almost all the categories. I like it because I can rely on the selection process and a new box arrives each month. The books circulate, but I can't say our school is chock full of pleasure readers. I am focusing on curriculum and learning commons. I am the yearbook advisor to a club of 6 (if we are lucky) and need to spend time creating the book this time of year. I have 2 part-time clerks here and they take care of the circulation needs more than I do. If you need more info, let me know and we can chat.

Hi,

Just wanted to check to see which of you at the HS level use Jr. Library
Guild, the categories you subscribe to, and your thoughts in general on
the service. Thanks in advance for your input. :)
