[CASL-L] PD with your teachers?

I often plan technology PD days for my school/district. We solicit teachers to do the 90 min morning classes to give time for demo and practice. The afternoon is spent on application of what they learned and finishing with a share of what everyone created. I frequently do Google Platform, iPad implementation and most recently Google My Maps. I also do hour long PD after school and sometimes during team meetings. I train on the SBAC Testing for teachers and synthesize the SBAC directions for them. I also train all new teachers and students on basic iPad usage.

This could include: Tech Fairs once or twice a year in the LLC, demo slams during the last five minutes of staff meetings, ¨Tech it Up Tuesday¨ emails, and sessions about Google tools during district PD days... We try to keep it light and fun.
