I am curious. I read this position statement. Would it be appropriate to include this in the Library Media Department? We are doing Hour of Code and coding on a small scale which is associated with our Maker Space activities. LMS may be qualified to teach a regular course in coding, but I am not sure. I searched the certification page and I did not see a certification for this. Of note, there is curriculum available through Kahn Academy and other resources on Hour of Code www.code.org<http://www.code.org> and through other national resources.
Thanks, Joan
