[CASL-L] writing app

Hello,


One of our English teachers is looking for an app (appropriate for high school) to allow students to participate in a online writing forum (by submitting pieces of their writing for comments/feedback and  having the ability to read pieces written by other students around the country or around the world).  She was looking at Figment, but wanted to know if anyone had any experience using this app or had suggestions of other apps that work well for this type of activity.
