[CASL-L] SCHOOL LIBRARY visits to observe ways of managing students coming and going

Hi Joy,

We have been using LibraryTrac to log students into the library since May
and we love it.
It has made it so much easier. During freshmen orientation, we are going
to give students
barcode, so they can scan in. The upper classmen will have their barcode
created on reqest.
That being said, we are constantly trying to improve the flow into and
out of the library.

Starting this year we have added sophomores to the list along with juniors
and seniors who do not need passes to come to the library.
They may leave once they have completed their work, but may not return that
period.
After freshmen orientation, freshmen will need a pass. Students can sign up
for a pass in the morning before
school and in between periods. They are expected to stay the entire period.
I am happy to have you come visit and to answer any other questions you
have.

Nancy
