[CASL-L] Looking for Narrative Nonfiction with an Asian setting

Good afternoon!
I'm looking for narrative nonfiction with an Asian setting and a target audience 7th grade.
We'd prefer it to be told from the Asian perspective (i.e. not an American traveling to Asia or climbing Mt. Everest).
Any ideas?
