There is a great essay, if you'd also like to assign narrative nonfiction,
called "From Birnam Wood to Dunsinane, " by John McPhee (it's in the
anthology Pieces of the Frame) about a trip he took to Scotland with his
family to the historical places featured in Shakespeare's play.
Sophisticated writing, but a great essay!
