[CASL-L] Student Login/logout Tracking software

Hello folks,

Here are the results I got back from the community as for *Library Visitor
Signin Software.*

7 folks replied with software they use

4  -  LibraryTrac (all high reviews) - It's an LLC. Owner is quick to
respond. Nice interface. Price is reasonable ($250 yr - They will
pro-rate). ID cards can be scanned or swiped. Great reporting functions. No
one had anything bad to say about it.
2  -  Google Docs - Suits its purpose. No reporting functions. You need to
setup the form and monitor the students as they manually input the data. I
implimented it yesterday to feel it out. Not bad but I'm going to buy a
product for scan/swipe.
1  -  SwipeK12 - User reports is ok. Glitches occasionally (no additional
details).

Hope this helps folks out. I'm going with LibraryTrac ASAP as I want
students to scan themselves in to speed up the process. The impetous for my
going to a software logging system is for speed, accuracy and LEGIBILITY!!
