Auto Correct Available Soon in EDS and EBSCOhost

Coming soon to EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS) and EBSCOhost® is a new sophistication in search. We will soon release a feature which automatically corrects a user’s original search query and displays results for the corrected search term. This search feature will be enabled and made available on or after February 16, 2017. If you do not wish for this feature to be enabled, please contact Customer Support<mailto:support at ebsco.com?subject=Auto%20Correct%20Available%20Soon%20in%20EDS%20and%20EBSCOhost> by February 15, 2017.

Auto Correct is automatic and happens when the alternative search is better than the original query. The original search term is corrected to the term that will retrieve the most relevant results for the intended query. Users can revert back to the original query at any time.
