[CASL-L] makerspace

I bought a LOT of new, cool craft books for our MakerLab this year, but most are specific to one craft.  I like the books put out by Make Magazine and Instructables, but I really LOVE this book:  The Art of Tinkering by Karen Wilkinson and Mike Petrich  https://www.amazon.com/Art-Tinkering-Karen-Wilkinson/dp/1616286091

But honestly, the kids don't really pick up the books as much as they try tinkering themselves, learning from each other, or YouTube videos, or ideas found on Pinterest.

I am looking to order materials that support makerspace and tinkering.  Does anyone have any suggestions on magazines (I am aware of MAKE), books for students or professional books to share as valuable resources to have on hand at the middle/high school level?
