[CASL-L] Important information about Baker & Taylor

As most of you know, Follett purchased Baker & Taylor last year. I asked my service rep at Baker & Taylor about the rumors that B&T would no longer be selling books to school libraries, and this was her reply:
Yes this is true.  I am now a Public Library rep.As of June 30th Baker and Taylor will no longer be filling orders for school libraries.All orders received after this date, will be sent to Follett.So if you need to place an order, please place before this date.Follett purchased Baker and Taylor last April.  
This is bad news for those of us who have been using B&T for most of our print purchases, especially since we have been able to enjoy a substantial discount (up to 40 percent) on many of their titles through our membership in the CLC.
