Changes to RBdigital Web/App Release Dates & Downtime










RBdigital customers,

We apologize for the inconvenience, but it is necessary to reschedule today’s release to 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, September 20.

This update may take up to eight hours to complete. During this period, service disruptions are expected for all RBdigital products on both web and mobile, including audiobooks, magazines, eBooks, ArtistWorks, Comics Plus: Library Edition, InstantFlix, Atomic Training, Qello Concerts, OnePlay, and Transparent Language Online.

During this downtime, patrons will see the following message when accessing RBdigital products on the web.

RBdigital Web Updates — September 20
The RBdigital web release will deliver a number of new features, including suggestive search and recommended title lists.

  *   Suggestive search makes it easier for users to find their favorite titles. Results pop up while users type their search criteria.
  *   Recommended title lists show suggested titles based on users’ favorite genres.
RBdigital Mobile App Updates — Date to Be Determined
In the coming weeks, an update to the RBdigital mobile app will correct issues identified by patrons and librarians. This update will also include the following features:

  *   Suggestive search makes it easier for users to find their favorite titles. Results pop up while users type their search criteria.
  *   Recommended title lists show suggested titles based on users’ favorite genres.
  *   Checkout and Download buttons for magazines have been redesigned to make downloading even easier.
  *   The Audiobook Player redesign, which includes adjustable playback speed, increases usability for patrons.
