[CASL-L] Non-fiction suggestions please

I have a grade 2 teacher with the following request.  Any suggestions to help?  We've got the Magic Tree House non-fiction companion books, but I'm in search of other titles/series with a fiction character sharing non-fiction facts that aren't chapter book level yet.  Many thanks!

I have a student who is struggling to connect to non-fiction books. We tried a bunch of different kinds and I've noticed she enjoys non-fiction with a narrator or narrative element like the Fly Guy Presents series and Magic School Bus. Are there any other series like this that we might have in the library for her to try?
