How are LSTA Grants like Powerball?
You can’t win if you don’t play!

But while the gas station cashier is happy to sell you the winning Quick Pick ticket with no pre-qualifications, you have to attend an information session in order to get an LSTA grant. And you have much higher odds of getting an LSTA grant than winning the lottery.

So make your own Quick Pick from the dates and locations below, and register on the Continuing Education calendar<http://cslib.libcal.com/>. Sessions will address both grant categories - literacies and planning - unless noted otherwise below.

·         Silas Bronson Library, Waterbury: Monday, March 5, 9:30-11:00

·         Hotchkiss Library of Sharon: Thursday, March 8, 10:00-11:30

·         Middletown Library Service Center, 786 South Main St, Middletown:

o   Wednesday, February 14, 1:30-3:00

o   Wednesday, February 21, 1:30-3:00

o   Wednesday, February 28, 9:00-noon (especially for planning grants)

o   Thursday, March 1, 4:00-5:30

o   Saturday, March 3, 9:30-11:00

o   Friday, March 9, 9:30-11:00
