We had a former student pass away and a generous individual donated money
to purchase books in her honor. When I approached the family about what
kind of books to buy, they recommended her favorite title and then
suggested purchasing poetry books. Suggestions?
First, I am looking for some nonfiction suggestions, collections that kids
check out or books that advise students on how to write poetry.
Second, novels in poetry. I have a lot of novels in poetry already, but if
you have a newer (or overlooked) favorite I would be interested to learn
that too.
We are a 7-8 school. Thanks for any help you can give!
