Happy 2018!

Below are details about a new PD site launched recently by a colleague and
his team at CAIS. Though it has started as an independent school database,
they are open to having public school presenters be a part of this as well.
It is a place to find presenters and/or to add yourself as a presenter.

The Connecticut Association of Independent Schools has recently launched
our new professional development website. This website serves as the
central "hub" for all of our schools—and will ultimately benefit other
independent schools and associations throughout the United States—as they
search for professional development opportunities and presenters within and
outside of Connecticut.

Do you have an expertise that educators and schools would find helpful or
useful? Are you looking to share that expertise? Whether you are an
experienced or novice presenter, we invite you to upload your information
into CAIS’ new speaker database.

To submit your resume along with information about your workshops or
presentations, click on the following link: http://caispd.org/

When you arrive at the front page, go to the pull-down menu in the top
right-hand corner and select *"Become a Presenter"*. Once you've submitted
your profile and it is approved by CAIS, you will be sent an email asking
you to log back in to make any additions/corrections.

As mentioned above, this forum will grow beyond Connecticut to include
other independent schools and associations in the United States, providing
relevant and important connections. Please help us spread the word about
this new website to speakers and schools in your network.
