[CASL-L] New AASL Standards

I agree with Michelle's interpretation, and I would add that the
*national *standards
for library media specialists are just that: the most important standards
for us to implement in our teaching. We should be publicizing them through
faculty meetings, if there's a time to do so, as well as personal
conversations with teachers, parents, and administrators. As Michelle
pointed out, there are different presentations for all the different stake
holders. AASL worked hard to develop these standards, as well as the
presentations, so that we would be able to utilize them in our different
schools.
