CASL members,
If your district is putting together its Opening Day(s) Professional Development activities (or thinking ahead for other pd days), after my retirement I will be presenting workshops for BER (Bureau of Education and Research).  Besides its statewide/regional offerings, BER also provides on-site pd.  I do a 6.5 hour presentation on the best YA (grades 6-12) books of the past five years, appropriate for library staff and ELA.  Reviews from New York and California workshops were very, very good.  Bookings should be made directly through BER.  Here is the link:
