We have a lounge and it's not just for seniors. It is in the space that used to be the library before this additions was built about 5 years ago. We call it the Commons. Students still have to sign in to study hall but they are free to go there if they wish. The library is supposed to be quiet. We have teachers who proctor the library during study periods but some teachers are better at keeping the kids quiet than others. Although there is a TV in the Commons and kids can talk as much as they want there, the majority still prefer the library because it is so large and they can be far away from adults in here. The Commons is smaller and they are closer to adults there even though they don't get disciplined since noise level is not an issue.

Subject: [CASL-L] Senior Lounges
How many high school's have a senior lounge at their school? and if so, is it located in the Library/Learning Commons? Also, what are the rules/guidelines in place?
Thanks
