[CASL-L] Bilingual books

Good morning Kim,

Just want to remind you and others that we have a good language limiting feature in our statewide library catalog, findIT CT.  If you go to https://finditct.org and select Advanced Search, you will be at  a screen with lots of choices to limit by.  In your case, I chose Spanish under the Language limiter and then chose Pre-Adolescent under the Audience Limiter and got lots of results for Spanish language materials.  Note: you don’t need to enter a search term to use the limiters.

When the search results came up, I looked to the left of the screen to further limit the results.  In the section that says Topic Subject there were a few limiters, but I was looking for “bi-lingual” as a limiter.  I clicked the “more” link to see more limiters and found bi-lingual about a dozen terms down from there.  Here is a sample of the first screen of results.  You can try it out and play with the audience limiters or others to hopefully get at what you want.  Have a good day.

Good morning-
We have four students in my school who only speak Spanish. They are in grades 6, 7, 8 and are reading on or close to grade level. I am looking for some books that have both English and Spanish in them.

Does anyone know where I can get some or borrow some? I looked on RB Digital to find some ebooks but didn't have any luck. It's possible that I'm not searching correctly.

My book budget it just about gone for the year. I'm wondering if there might be someplace able to donate some.
