Matt,

I'm late to the response party, I see. Yes, it was *allsides.com
<http://allsides.com> *

This resource is amazing and generally accurate (in my opinion) in its
identification of political leanings. Website states that All Sides uses a
mysterious algorithm partially based on "a combination of
wisdom-of-the-crowd technology and the best statistical research and
methodologies"

 Twitter:

Here's an activity suggestion that I have been planning to use as part of
a lesson series with All Sides:

Use Pew Research http://www.people-press.org/quiz/political-typology/ -
students identify own biases first before exploring media bias.

They've recently expanded to include a program for schools:

"AllSides For Schools delivers online and in-class programs for healthy
communication and understanding of diverse perspectives to foster dialog,
collaboration and critical thought. • Grades: 6-12 and college • Standards:
Addresses Common Core and state standards for 6 – 12th grades. Ideal for
Language Arts, Communications and Social Sciences (including History and
Civics). • Cost: Free non-profit pilot program "

Good luck and please let the group know how you use the site! I'm looking
for ideas.

Thanks,
