[CASL-L] Middle School Literary Magazine

Hello Magical CASL List,

Our school (Westside Middle School Academy in Danbury) is attempting our first literary magazine this year.
The students are planning to create a digital/printed book including both art and writing. Grades are 6-8.

I am looking for any links to useful resources are appreciated, including:
recommended software programs
printing resources (for hard copies)
literary magazine rubrics
student editing resources
other middle school literary magazine examples from CT
any general tips for timeline/submission/to theme or not to theme?
