> On October 5, the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival will host 145+ writers and illustrators. National Book Award finalist Jarrett J. Krosoczka (author of Hey, Kiddo), Cece Bell (author El Deafo), Jerry Craft (author of New Kid) and many other high profile writers will be speaking. See details below.

> The festival is a family friendly open-air celebration of books and literacy in downtown Chappaqua, with author readings and interviews, food trucks, live music, and fun zone for several thousand visitors from NY, NJ and CT. All are welcome and admission is free.

> TEACHERS AND LIBRARIANS

> Teachers and librarians should check in at the Information Booth to be entered to win special prizes like author Skype visits, original art and signed books.
