[CASL-L] Coloring IN books

My art colleague came to me last spring and asked for weeded books. She gave them to her AP students to use over the summer in lieu of a traditional blank pad of paper. I went in to the class last week and was so happy to see that they'd turned them into beautiful pieces of art just like the ones in your photo!

Cool! Some kids do Black out Poetry with weeded books as well!
Thanks for sharing!

Looking for a library/art collaboration or a new use for weeded books? Check out this cool idea from the art teacher at my school (who got it from another art teacher… who got it from someone else…). Students love it!
