[CASL-L] Sensitivity in reminding students the books they have checked out while we are out of school

I watched the CDC webinar for dealing with COVID-19 in museums and
libraries. The public health presenters explained that leaving books and
materials exposed to the COVID-19 to sit for 48 hours should be sufficient.
For DVDs and borrowed electronics that are plastic, they recommend wiping
with alcohol based wipes (60% alcohol or more).

If we don't go back to school until the fall, we will send out overdues
over the summer and ask parents to drop books off over the summer (if they
are allowed to visit our school) and have a bin for them to leave books. If
they aren't allowed to visit the school, we'll send out overdues at the end
of the school year and again at the beginning of the school year in
September. We are talking about having multiple book return bins that we
will let sit for 48 hours before we check-in and put back on the shelves.
