[CASL-L] future plans for re-opening

Hi Jodie,

I would love to be involved in this conversation.  Some of the school librarians in my district have started to discuss these issues, but it has not been mentioned within our district otherwise, to the best of my knowledge.  I’m very curious how this is going to play out at each level and ideas that others have to address the many issues at play.

I’m concerned with the recommendations shared from the CDC expert during the IMLS webinar given that the expert did not seem to be aware of the realities that libraries face (did they really not know that people sneeze on the books??  Geez, my oldest students (4th graders) still lick and chew on the books).
