[CASL-L] Aiming your Chromebook at the Smartboard

I don't know if any other school systems were told to aim their Chromebooks at their smartboard for students at home, but if so, I would highly recommend teams of teachers practicing a Google Meet to teach virtually -pretending that the rest of the team is students sitting in the room (on the Google Meet as well) and aiming your Chromebook at the Smartboard.. You CANNOT read the Smartboard!! This is going to screw people up BIG TIME..

(Two options are to buy an HDMI cord that connects chromebooks to smartboards OR turn off the smartboard and pretend it doesn't exist- do everything in front of your chromebook.

Just my two cents if your school was told to do this.. I think everyone should experience it as a student. Does anyone have any alternative ideas?
