?Mary,

We have a Makerspace within the Media Center. Mostly it is all used in this space. Before Covid, teachers could schedule to use the space to use the materials and/or complete projects. I use the space as my classroom when I am teaching or co-teaching.

We have had some instances where teachers have checked out materials, Breakout edu boxes, lego, robotics, etc... but I would say it mostly stays here.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [CASL-L] Makerspace question

Hi all,

Quick makerspace question - for normal times - which hopefully, we'll be back to soon!??. Do you keep all your makerspace material in your media centers? Do you allow makerspace material to be checked out by teachers? If you have time to let me know what has worked well for you, I'd appreciate it! I'm trying to figure out how I want to set things up for . . . whenever.

As always, thanks for your thoughts.

Mary Lee
