[CASL-L] SCSU Site Visit Reception for ALA Accreditation

Dear Connecticut Library Community Members:



Members and friends of the Information and Library Science (ILS) Department at SCSU are delighted to announce that the External Review Panel (ERP) for ALA Accreditation will be on campus March 22-24.



Please show your support for the new graduate program by joining ILS faculty and University administrators for a reception to welcome ERP members on Sunday, March 22, from 3 – 5 pm in Buley Library 443.



During their visit, the Panel members will examine the MLIS curriculum and all the related facilities. It will also conduct interviews with faculty, current students, alumni, employers, ILS Advisory Board members, and others from the Connecticut Library Community.



Come, meet, and greet the ERP and show your support for the new MLIS program!



Directions to the University and a campus map are available at http://www.southernct.edu/about/directions.html.  The Buley Library is Building 12.  Parking will be available in Wintergreen Avenue Garage (Building 38 on the campus map).
