[CASL-L] Student book lists/holds

Hello! I'm hoping the great minds in this group can help me out.

I teach in a PK - 2 school and the plan right now is for me to teach
library from a cart in classrooms including book circulation.

Here's what I'm thinking...
Have kids/parents make book lists (preferably in Destiny) that I will then
have easy access to. I would pull books based on those lists and check
them out to students prior to class.

I know if they sign in, they can make lists and place holds in Destiny, but
I'm struggling with how to access those lists EASILY on my end. I'd love
to get a report of holds/and or book lists by homeroom like I can get a
report of books currently checked out.

My other thought is to make a Google Form to collect the requests.

Not sure if I'm making sense, but does anyone have experience with this?
OR Do you have another idea that might be more efficient?

I've brought baskets of books to classes before for book circulation, but
with social distancing and fear of cross contamination, I'm not sure that
is a viable option in this case.

I'm guessing many of us will be in the same boat, and I'll be happy to
compile and share whatever responses I get into a Google Doc.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Erin Madeira
