[CASL-L] Governor's Summer Reading

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your advocacy for public libraries!  My public library has been providing an array of services (curbside pickup, ebooks, extensive assistance on tech issues, readers advisory, etc.) throughout the shutdown.

Much as we promote lifelong reading, we can help our kiddos become lifelong library users.
Best,Ava

The Emergency Library is shutting down and won’t be an option. I’m surprised CT put that as a resource! Maybe, instead, they can recommend the readers turn to their local library.  https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/11/books/internet-archive-national-emergency-library-coronavirus.html

Yes, I just put a call into Joanne White and asked her about that being included on their website. I will let you know if I hear anything.

Hello Jackie, Thanks for reaching out. We recently learned of a slight delay in posting summer learning materials because of required website management system upgrades. Please check our website again for materials later this week. Joanne
