If I had to choose only 1, it would be Proquest eLibrary- It is searchable like a database, includes all the standard tools, but also organizes a lot of information into research topics. I've been using it for years.

If you are really strapped for $$, the databases we get through researchitct.org are decent.

If I had extra money right now, I'd probably be looking into getting pricing for Hoopla, or working with the local public library to make sure their Hoopla collection included titles in the curriculum, just in case we find ourselves entirely remote again.

Hi everyone,

I am at a High School with about 900 students and we have very few databases currently. Which database do you feel delivers the most bang for your buck? Why?

This is a new school for me. Before the previous librarian retired she used most of this years budget on the few that I have; however, I may have a bit of wiggle room of around $1,000 left to spend in an extremely timely fashion.

Thanks,
