Over the years, funding has shifted from the tech dept to the library. We have a K-12 for Britannica. ProQuest eLibrary is my go-to for everything with the broadest coverage and most useful for all abilities and interests.

In Wethersfield, most are paid through the district technology budget.
However, the MS and HS do have a line item in our budgets to add needed subscriptions specific to our staff/students/needs.

Hello!

Our district is looking into purchasing databases for all grade levels (we currently have one at the middle school), and I was wondering how are databases paid for in your district? Is it its own line item, or does the district pull from different departments that use the databases?

Thank you so much!

Emma
