Hi Emma, Alex, Kristine & Joy, and all School Librarians, 


Here’s a quick list of resources to help you get started with your questions. ALA has a Challenge Support section with several additional articles within that area including submitting a challenge report and how to respond to challenges and concerns. 


Below the ALA links I’ve included several other resources that will help answer your questions. 


Find and review the district’s curriculum policy, library media policy and build your knowledge with the information in the policies and the information provided below. Plan to talk to your admins so they are well informed and are supporting classroom/school libraries and educators.
