Researchitct.org has this read aloud function available on many of their database resources. Perhaps she could find the content she needs there and then she'll already have the option to have it read aloud to the kids. Good Luck!

Good morning!  Happy Friday!
I have a special ed teacher who is looking for a way to make pdf into "read to me" texts.  Her students are in grades 2-4.  In order to assist with access to nonfiction texts for research, she was thinking she could create a pdf of the page in a book, add it to a slide, and use a tech tool to have it read to the student.  We are a google based school, so the extensions we are currently using [Read&Write] do not work for pdf or screen reading.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
